To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Shukokai, we have been able to organise a week long training celebration of Tani Sensei’s amazing legacy.
Please take a look below at the schedule.
All Karate paricipants must complete a booking form to able to train during this week.
UNLESS SPECIFIED, ALL SESSIONS ARE OPEN TO ALL GRADES AND AGES.
There is also an entry form for the Anniversary Tournament. Please note that this competition is restricted to those 20yrs down to 6yrs old, only. Click the link to enter, below.
The last event is our Buffet dinner. EVERYONE on tour is asked to please book and pay for your attendance here on this page.
We have booked large venues for most of the training events as to accommodate spectators. So if you’re coming on tour and are not a Karate-Ka please come and watch all the action.

When you have finished you should have:
Completed a booking and payment for each person in your group training karate during the tour $70 for the week of training.
Completed and paid for anyone aged 20yrs and under who is competing in the Anniversary Tournament - entries close September 20th.
Everyone needs to book their spot for the 75th Anniversary Buffet dinner.
Tuesday night - December 3rd
6:30pm to 8:30pm - Rhythm & Movement Training
Here we will be working with a Specialised coach, which Sensei Mizoguchi uses in his dojo to help his students learn movement and rhythm.
This is for the entire group, all grades and ages.
Wednesday All day event - December 4th
8:30am to 12pm - Kumite training Seminar with WKF K1 Grand Champion - Hashimoto Hiromu
2pm to 4:30pm - Ishitobi Kazuo Hanshi Training seminar.
This is for the entire group, all grades and ages.
Wednesday night - December 4th
6:30pm to 8:30pm - Grading night - You must apply for grading with your Dojo Instructor.
Those seniors who have been accepted to attempt Grading on tour.
Thursday Evening - December 5th
4:30pm - 6:30pm - Elite training and Senior Coaches only - Shinko Gakkouen High school team training. - By invitation only
6:30pm to 8:30pm - Mizoguchi Shinichi Training session
This is for the entire group, all grades and ages.
Friday night Training - December 6th
6:30pm to 8:30pm - Ishitobi Kazuo Hanshi Training seminar, in the Futaba Dojo, Shin Nagata
This is for the entire group, all grades and ages.
Saturday Training - December 7th
10am to 11:30am - Mizoguchi Shinichi Training session
After the session is completed, there will be time for those competing to also practise with Sensei’s students for the Tournament.

Sunday December 8th - Tournament Day
Hyogo Shukokai Union Championships - Hosted by Ishitobi Hanshi
The competition is open to all participants on Tour aged 20yrs and under. (down to 6yrs)
The event is being held at Nishi Dai Stadium

Kata - $30 for one division Kumite - $30 for one division
Monday December 9th -75th Celebration Buffet dinner.
Harbourland Kobe.
Lets all get together with our Shukokai family and friends to celebrate the 75th Anniversary, and the great week of activities together.
We will be having our dinner celebration at the Harbourland Precinct in Kobe at a Buffet.
Everyone attending the tour asked to attend, as this dinner also complete’s half of the tour.
*Smart casual dress please, no Denim.
We need everyone to complete a booking form for this event so we can prepay and avoid any confusion on the night. Please complete one booking per person you are travelling with.
Kids under 6yrs - $10 full buffet and drinks Kids 7yrs to 12yrs - $25 full buffet and drinks
13yrs to Adults - $50 full buffet and drinks (Alcohol drinks extra)
