Welcome to the Shukokai 75th Anniversary Tour of Japan

Tour training week and 75th Celebrations schedule and bookings now available.

In December 2024 Shukokai will be celebrating the 75th anniversary from when Sensei Tani began teaching our style in his own dojo.

Traditionally we have participated every 5 years in anniversary tours, celebrations, training and competition with our Japan friends and friends from all over the world.

The 75th anniversary is our next chance to do this again, bigger than ever.

Through the assistance of the JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) we have a chance to all travel to this event as one group, as one Oceania Union.

We can’t wait for you to join us on our fully guided Karate Tour of Japan.

Shukokai Anniversary Training Week Tour

*2 - 10 December 2024
Everyone meets in Kobe and the celebrations begin with a memorial service for Sensei Tani. The Training Week Tour includes one night and three days of training, a grading opportunity, the 75th Anniversary Tournament and the highly anticipated celebration dinner!

Shukokai Anniversary Full Cultural Tour

*2 - 17 December 2024
The Full Cultural Tour includes everything in the Training Week and more! The Full Tour participants will continue on to visit Hiroshima and the moving Peace Park, Nara the ancient capital of Japan, and the cultural wonders of Kyoto.
